- Tanzeel urRehmanMarch 27, 2013The airport opens up at 4:00 AM since San Jose has a "noise curfew", so don't come before that if you have an early flight.
- Jessamyn WeldAugust 15, 2014No "uncaged animals," so if you brought your dog to greet someone you're picking up, you couldn't bring them in the airport. Had I known this, wouldn't have brought my dog!

- Tim SkellengerFebruary 19, 2014All food closed by 10:30 if not 10. Terminal B is nicer and you can stay in the airport over night now for lay overs
- Don't wait in front of the terminal like all the other idiots. If you walk to the end, they've left you a nice open area for people to pick you up
- 1 Hour Express parking for picking up people is the best idea ever!!!!
- The cut off time to check a bag is 40 mins-domestic, 60-international. To check in period is a 30 minute cut off to departure. And yes...there's a charge for a bag.
- Terminals A and B are connected by a bridge. There is a lounge near that bridge.

- Other than Thanksgiving travel this airport is super easy getting in and out if A+
- When boarding, hang on to the boarding pass for the connecting flight when you give the boarding pass for your first flight to the gate agent!!! LOL
- Security line procedures have changed as of 03/25/22. Plan a little extra time to get through.
- When using the kiosk for checking in or reprinting your boarding pass, just insert a credit card or your DL instead of inputting your confirmation number. Saves time.

- Traveling with Southwest? Check out the e-cloud: 1000s of switchable glass squares suspended from the ceiling that change from opaque to transparent w/the transmission of real-time weather data!
- Economy lot 1 seems to always be full now. Have to park all the way down at lots 4 or 6 at Terminal B. A total pain in the ass.
- It’s official: there is nothing noteworthy about this airport. Zero. It is as utilitarian as it gets for an airport that serves 40,000 people a day.
- Dean HataApril 7, 2013Plan for possible long taxi line. Every now and then they have a delay in letting cabs in and there's a long line
