If your toddler needs some entertainment check out the audio-kinetic rolling ball sculpture at gate 2. Absolutely mesmerizing! Save the books, movies, and treats for the plane and take them here.
While not as richly featured as SFO, SJC offers ample parking, great central South Bay location and loads of domestic and international flights. When booking, price compare this, SFO and OAK!
Nicer, easier, faster and overall cheaper alternative to the always delayed and somewhat crowded SFO. If you are flying into Silicon Valley my choice would be flying into SJC.
If you're arriving and really have to go, but the bathrooms are packed, just take a few more steps and take the escalator down to baggage claim. Turn right and find a less crowdedrestroom. :-) whew!
Skip by Starbucks and Peet's - there's an Illy espressocafe down near gate 20. Best coffee you'll ever get at an airport. PRO-TIP: they keep a tip jar just behind the counter. :)
The Power Suite is now open! Across from Gate 18 in Terminal B, you'll find ample seating, power outlets and the usual free & fast WiFi to keep you productive or entertained before your flight.
San Jose Int'l Airport (SJC) is located in the heart of Silicon Valley, the center of technology innovation. San Jose is the 10th largest city in the U.S.http://www.flysanjose.com
My favorite airport and one of the newest airport terminalarchitectural designs in the US. Best part is the seats have plugs and USB ports to charge your gadgets.
Wheelchairs available and friendly assistance to ladies bathroom, coffee queue & boarding gate. For those who can walk on the ramp to aircraft can get a TSA blue medical priority boarding.
This is the best airport in the Bay Area! They have free WiFi, it's never crowded, the staff is friendly, and even the TSA is courteous. This is the best airport, hands-down.
Such a nice airport. great feature=baggage claim states when first bag has made it to.the belt and the last baggage has been delivered. they are FAST, TOO! Such a bonus.
Go to the diner right beside Starbucks because Starbucks doesn't have chairs and tables. While you are at it also try their breakfast if you are there before 10:00 AM
Very convenient airport due to its size and great alternative to SFO. Enjoy the Dreamliner when flying from or to London on BA. Immigration lines can get long though.
Awesome airport! Awesome pizza at pizza me heart, free wifi, outlets in pizza me heart at tables, outlets and usbs at every seat (at least I know southwest gate waiting does! Wow...impressed.
Ahh~ What a way to travel. Make sure you remember to check in all liquids and firearms, and be prepared. Take off your shoes, belt, and make sure your laptop is out for security. Enjoy your flight!
If you're renting a car, Enterprise has the lowest rates. Rent for a day from the airport, switch to a rental at a non-airport location to get lower rates to avoid airport/tourism fees/taxes.
Once inside the airport, getting through from check-in to gate is not bad. Rental vehicles are off-site, and the rental shuttles are a good walk from the terminals.
Easy in, easy out. Fly into and out of here instead of San Francisco. MUCH less crowded and easier to get through lines. Not to mention it's a pretty airport
Modern & efficient airport alternative to SFO. A smaller version of American Express Lounge opened, but guests are limited to one free guest only. Two lounges welcome Priority Pass.
Go to the lounge in terminal A near the intl gates. $35 gets you hot food items and drinks including alcohol. Not to mention, faster wifi, comfy seats and workstation desks.
Starbucks near Gate 13 so don't buy coffee outside!! And don't forget your sharpie keychain stuffs, very strict & no way to leave at airport/airline and claim it when you get back.
Looks nice and fancy but completely dysfunctional. Most restaurants out of business. Always out of everything. Starbucks runs out of coffee. Coffee! CC and cash register systems constantly go down.
