If your traveling Southwest, eat before you get to the airport. Food options are limited.
Construction at terminal 2 makes getting in and out pretty rough.
Robb CApril 9, 2013What a ridiculous place. Not all the gates are behinds he same security, once you arrive you may have to leave and re-enter to get your connection. Horrible!
Most incompetent security people and system anywhere in the world.

Terminal 1 has smallest bathroom ever. Go on the plane instead

Get your shoes shined at the Terminal 1 gates. They do a fantastic job!
The TSA here is served with a side of extra cluelessness.
Wifi is NOT FREE. Phones require an app install for access, but links to apps do not work!
Bryan FikesJune 16, 2010Remember to check that your flight is not at gate 1 or 2, the security check-in is on the east end of the terminal.
Ticketing counters don't open until 4:30am on a 6am....had I known that, I would have slept in a bit more.
I always feel sad when I'm at SAN. I never want to go home
