Such a fun experience. The tour is free but they do ask to kindly leave a $2 donation. You get 3 different tasting in a 6oz glass. Staff is very energetic and knowledgeable.
They offer free tours and free beer ! Great staff! It's obvious they are enjoying their jobs!! There is also a trolley that can drive you to Doyle's Cafe, a must go place! (awesome driver!!!) 🍻🍻
Best brewery!! It's free with free beer at the end with a Q & A. The tour are every 30 min. With a different label for each tour. The tour guides are awesome and informative. Great gift shop, parking
The tour was great- it was a two parter,a brief brewery tour and then a guided tasting portion. I enjoyed the last portion the best, it was awesome to have an introduction into tasting beer.
Entrance is free, in exchange for optional donation, starts off with explanation of manufacturing process and then on to taste testing, they also have root beer for non drinkers. Gift shop available
The originator of the craft beer game, Samuel Adams Brewery's tasting room in a must see spot. Enjoy a few cold pints while playing a game of shuffleboard in the Jamaica Plain location.
Tour guides are hilarious and smart. You get to nibble on what's used to make beer, 3 free 7 oz tastings at the end and you keep the glass. Gift shop has some awesome gear as well.

I always enjoy visiting the Samuel Adams Brewery with its informative tour. After the tour, sampling the beer is the best part but going to the restaurant afterwards is not enjoyable.
so good. free tour and tastings. take the included trolly to DoylesPub & Back. THAT is what you'll remember the most. the trolly ride was freaking awesome !!!!! that driver deserved every tip he got!
You'll definitely want to take a tour of this famous brewery! Taste-test beers along the way. My favorite is the Octoberfest beer, but it can only be found in the fall months. Enjoy!

Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Really interesting tour. Love how the "profit" (it's donation only, no actual fee) from the tours goes to local charities!
One of the best brewery tours I've been on. Very educational. Novice craft beer adventurers would greatly benefit from this tour to learn about beer and tasting it.
Nothin beats free beer. Protip: sit at the ends of the long tables. People pour and pass the pitchers down. So if you sit at the end you get the remainder of the pitcher to yourself.
Free tour, free beer tasting glass, and free delicious brews. Fun fact: bet you didn't know this location is an R&D facility designed for cooking up new flavors.
Don't miss the free beer and free tasting glass! Be nice and leave tips if you enjoy the tour. And more important, do get a ride with the (free) trolley to Doyle's, it's so much fun!!
Brewery tour was minimal which was good because I don't have the attention span for the technical aspect of brewing but the tasting at the end was really fun, the guide was hilarious
Great tour a lot of fun and great beer. You learn about the ingredients, how it's made, and then you get to sample 3 beers on our tour we had boston lager, summer ale, and ibs!
What's not to love about this place? Free beer, great funny tour guides, great swag, free trolley bus to Doyles, free glass at Doyles when you buy a beer.
Great time. Must do when in Boston. Stu is the best! And free beer. How could you go wrong? And don't miss getting over to Doyle's for some great pub food.
Free tours and tastings at the brewery between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Mon. - Thurs., plus Saturdays (the tours leave every 45 minutes or so). On Fridays, tours continue through 5:30 p.m.
Definitely recommend touring. The tour is short and sweet, with delicious beer at the end and an option to keep drinking by taking a party trolly to a bar near by!
Tours start every 20 mins. Get behind the group b4 u so u can stay in front for the 1st demo, the back for the 2nd and get to pick ur seat at d tasting room. Sit close 2 d bar so u get 1st dibs!
Find all Sam Adams tastes! Also, small snacks served (eg guacamole). Only negative is seating - make sure to call in advance and book otherwise long wait times...
Brian says also follow this guide for beer stuff in Boston: http://www.bostonglobe.com/lifestyle/food-dining/2012/12/04/the-best-beer-bars-boston/a1AdoUwlauSSnr9dxauHeN/story.html
Get there early and sit in the back when they take you to the tasting room, you will end up with the pitcher. Plus male sure you take the party bus to Doyle's
Love the summer ale, but don't let an underage drinker shut down your favorite brewery. Try cell phone spy today to monitor a teen's mobile phone. Read more
It's worth seeing, but you only get to try a few beers on-site. There's a party bus after the tour however that will take you to a local bar, so you can keep the Sam Adams flowing.
You get to sample 2 beers while on the tour, but they offer other side events as well (like taste testing new drinks or voting on a beer for their sampler pack) - don't miss out!
Free beer? Free tour? and a free Samuel Adams glass? It doesn't get any better than that! Did you enjoy the tour? Let people know on Wyngspan! Read more
Fun tour, but I'd personally recommend going to Harpoon if you want a better beer tasting experience. The brainchild of Jim Koch, basically brought craft beer nationwide to America.
In our opinion there is no better experience than the one you get here at the Samuel Adams® Brewery. You'll learn about our history... and then drink it.
