I wouldnt sit at back of table for tasting with a big group. Pitcher kept leaving us only half a glass by time it got to us. Otherwise, rest is spot on. & they mail their postcards for free
The tour is free and you get to sample three beers and keep the tasting glass. The tour guide was really funny and entertaining. Lots of fun! Go to Doyle's for food and keep your Sam Adams glass.
Hop on the trolley afterwards and have lunch at Doyle's! pretty good food and you get to keep one one your special Sam Adams glass if you order a Sam on tap and show your hand stamp.
Mail out a postcard for free from the gift shop. Stay near the back of the tour on the third stop (the large steel barrel room) to get a prime seat in the tasting room.
Michael was an excellent tour guide!!! Everyone is saying so and so was funny, but I'd bet that Michael is the funniest! He's witty and thinks on his feet! Really informative too. Try Michael!
Take the tour & try the beer for free! Go to Doyle's after for a beer & you get to keep the Sam Adams glass. Don't buy the glasses in the factory store for $8, we found them elsewhere for $2.99.
When you go they'll generally give you three different beers. The first two are the Boston Lager and the current Seasonal beer. The third changes and is usually something unique and/or special.
In our opinion there is no better experience than the one you get here at the Samuel Adams® Brewery. You'll learn about our history... and then drink it.
