Tacos are on point. Are you waiting? Probably. Go play ping pong by the back bar.

Cocktails were delish. Arrived famished and was surprised by the small portions Salvation Taco offered. I'll definitely be back but for the drinks and atmosphere, not the food.

The cauliflower taco is fantastic as is the lamb taco. Try the weathervane cocktail. And the music is great but not too loud.

Negra Modelo lager is incredible. Smooth and dark. Tacos x3 are dear but delicious. The guacamole is on point, lime sets it off!

Loved the tacos al pastor and the carne asada tacos. Both seemed very fresh and tender. The amount of heat was perfect.

order from the to-go menu on the ground floor, where Salvation’s main dining room is, and then head up to the 17th-floor terrace.

Go for the Family Feast; whole fish or the pork shank were both great to share among four people. Lamb shoulder is next!

My personal favorites here are (in order): sweetbreads, Morocco lamb, and fried fish. Skirt steak was a little tough and Korean BBQ was kind of a miss for me.

If you don't mind sucking on chicken feet and spitting out tiny bones in front of other diners, get the crispy chicken feet. Spicy, crispy and delicious.

All their food as salty as hell but it's really fun to order short rib or another meat and make your own tacos. DIY FTW

It's the Scene you've been looking for (or not). No hipsters here, not even many Bros in their boat shoes, just medium-scale surbanites who are in on the train (?). That said, tons of good energy.

Better decor / scene than food. Many items from other tips and the wsj article no longer on menu. No tasting flights to sample different tacos. No sweetbreads or Pecan tacos. Cauliflower tacos best.

While the food is delicious, don't be surprised when your bill is slightly higher then anticipated. These are not cheap tacos, especially since they are super tiny (4 bites max).

CHIPS & GUAC: guac is topped with cilantro (for those non-cilantro eaters) - a little too much lime making the guac not as creamy as it could be. chips are super salty.

Ask for the spicy salsa. Tapatio is fine, but is better suited for eggs than for nice tacos. That said, overall, the food is great.
