Terminal A is the original, cruddy part of the airport. If you fly a budget airline, it's where you'll end up.

Shawn MahoneyMay 20, 2013This is by far one of the worst airports. The layout is horrible and the availability of food inside the gate areas is not good at all. Yeah, not a fan of this place. TSA agents here were clueless.
Of note: none of the security points use porno scanners. Do you think that might be because congresscritters like this airport but don't enjoy the indignity?

TSA PreCheck, expedited screening, is a wonderful benefit at DCA for Delta frequent flyers.

Really good WiFi reception at gate 10: 2.43 Mbps down, .93 Mbps up early on a weekday morning.
- Check status of Economy Lot before leaving for the airport, because if it is full, then the Daily Lot is $20/day.

Grab you coffee at Starbucks before you hit the security line for gates 35 & up. Generic not very good coffee awaits you on the other side.
