The only place I've been to where I actually liked the corn bread. Usually I find cornbread too dry and crumbly, but this stuff was moist and even kind of sweet.
High energy from a blend of old world Harlem, pioneering yuppies and...European tourists? Yup its in the guidebooks. May not be cool much longer (when it hits American tourists' radar they are done).
Awesome food, awesome service! We had the cornbread, oysters, dirty rice, duck liver, yard bird chicken and shrimp & grits. Everything was beyond great. And it was a plus to meet Marc Samuelsson!
