I love hummus of the day. Known for both French onion soup and stellar crème brûlée. Burger is divine. (Mmm, pickled onions.) If it's crowded, or even if it's not, eating at bar is fun.

Just across the street from Syracuse Stage, Phoebe's is a popular spot for VPA students. Known for its relaxing atmosphere, Phoebe's is perfect for a nice meal or cup of coffee after watching a show.

Tonight we are featuring a spinach salad with hazelnut crusted- fried scallops. Tossed with a butternut squash oil, fresh mozz, asparagus and heirloom cherry tomatoes for $18.

After nearly five years in the Syracuse area, Pheobe's is still, by far, my favorite restaurant around! It's a little pricey but the food, service, and atmosphere is excellent. Read more

Portobello mushroom gnocchi for lunch is great - filling enough for you to easily make a second meal out of your leftovers

Skip the duck wanting. They are basically cream cheese and corn filled turnovers. No detectable duck at all.

Don't order the prosciutto sandwich during lunch. Ham was NOT prosciutto - it was probably boiled ham sliced thinly made too look like it. See for yourself. Disappointing.
