Make a reservation for dinner. You can open a tab and order the lemonapple cider and cozy up with the blankets provided by the restaurant while you wait.
The brunch certainly lived up to it's hype (and was worth the wait - expect ~1 hour). Beautiful wood-covered place. From what I hear, the dinner is nothing to write home about.
one of my favorite spots in sf. i love the eggs in jail and the dutch pancake. service is so sweet, especially the guy with long curly hair. so adorable that i just wanted to hug him.
Try the grilled cheese with bacon - #kvpinmybelly : Amazing cheese over crusty bread. Had kitchen add bacon. Also, the Yukon potato soup w/ bacon oil was yummy!
The bread was amazing, the lamb was a bit too heavy (And salty). This seems like it could be a pretentious place, but the wait staff were all very nice and far from pretentious.
Recipe for success: Put your name in, get coffee at Trouble, walk to the beach. Upon return, if you got marked as a "no show" just tell 'em and you'll be first in line!
Two and a half hours later, we finally got seated. Tip: go to trouble coffee while you wait and get the cinnamon toast to prevent yourself from getting hangry
Delicious, a wee bit expensive, and lovely wood walled interior. Expect to wait a while for brunch, but the Dinner wait, even on Friday or Saturday, is not long.
