Even when the airport is busy, as king as you're there at least an hour before your flight you shouldn't have any problems making your flight. TSA is quite efficient.
If you need to mail something before you fly-there are two mailboxes just outside the terminal 1 building, and another one on the northeast wall of the Terminal 1 Hawaiian/International ticket counter
(1) TSA-pre now available! (2) Walk-ups may be let in on a lottery basis. Try it!
PreTSA is extremely easy. Be prepared to walk if you’re in Terminal 2 and gates 32-34.

There is easier parking at Oakland airport than San Francisco airport. The food is not as good but it is a big Southwest hub.
So much easier to get in and out of than SFO. It’s become my go-to for flying to Ontario, CA on Southwest.

If you're traveling to deliver an all important presentation, stop fiddling with slides and start rehearsing. Commit content to memory so you can avoid reading from notes or slides. Now rock it!
Best airport ever! Walked right in and done w security in less than 5 min. $3 air Bart is sweet too.
Best Bay Area airport -- usually cheaper flights, and the security line is quick and easy.

AirBart to Bart is near Carousel 4, where you pick up your bags. It's at the 3rd curb, and then you turn right and you should see it. It's about 12 minutes to the Bart, then you go from there!- Andale restaurant near gate 28 now has Peet's nitro cold brew coffee on tap.

Go to the Starbucks at gate 11, it's less ratchet... Well considering, it is Oakland. This airports always a ghost town for a reason.

Gets busier every year... Come at least 1.5 hours ahead of time
When you enter, park at the very end of the row you're assigned to. Those folks get dropped off at their car first on the way back.
So great, in and out of this nice clean airport in no time.
Pro tip: use the phrase "I'd like to opt out" for a free full-body massage.

Cool airport w/great wifi and comfy! Guard your outlets though they're prime real estate
The BART to airport connector air tram is new and clean still! Good service.- A good part of the airport is under renovation (est. completion around late 2020), so expect most food places to either be gone or replaced.
Knowing the sequester, the lines may be long. Not SFO long, but make sure you're wearing comfortable pants just in case.
It's a bit on the smaller side, but it's nice. Free WiFi and the international terminal is nice.
There are now filtered water stations for your reusable water bottle 👍🏻

matthew nakamuraJune 12, 2010This airport has a great mom and pop burger joint called burger king. It's a little on the pricier side, but worth it! Ask for the whopper...TRUST ME.
Take a picture of the parking area sign where your car is located. For the wifi access through the airport on an iPhone, use Safari to accept the T&C and watch an ad.
