If coming or going by BART do not forget to have $3 in either cash or BART tickets. They do accept combinations, just so long as it all equals at least $3.
Wifi is ok; voice and 3G cell coverage is unreliable at best. Try a pretzel bread breakfast sandwich.
Best airport in the Bay -- shorter lines, fewer delays, and often cheaper!
First out flights. Allow extra time. We spent 40 minutes waiting for the drug dog to show. Which he did - finally at 5am. Should he be here earlier?
When flying SouthWest pay $15 to upgrade to business class... You get to shortcut the security line. Well worth it!
Park 'N Fly is a great place to park - friendly & inexpensive. They pick up at 4E
Get a pretzel from Auntie Annie's near Southwest gate 26. Ask for lots of yellow mustard! Yum!

Wifi is free but bandwidth BLOWS!
Really small airport and BART closes at around midnight, so if you have a late flight and need to get to SF don't fly in here.
Remember, TSA = thousands standing around tell them you're horny when you get the nuance of a pat down.

Arrive 2 hours early for international flights this season 2023. I almost lost my fly, the lines for bag and TSA are so crowded

There is no good food in terminal 2. Have dinner before coming to the airport, otherwise is all drink and mostly cold food. 🥴

Eric McRaeNovember 25, 2010A good way to pass the time is to try to figure out what kind of Asian each one of them is. Maybe it's Korean, maybe chinese, maybe it's something I've never even heard of.
Surprisingly efficient and uncrowded...almost empty!
The pizza spot and the wine bar are pretty good for airport food!
If you park premium parking you can get a pass to skip security line.
