LeslieFebruary 13, 2013It's amateur hour at the security checkpoints. Tons of strollers, wheelchairs, and first time travelers. Anticipate at least a 45 minute wait in the security line.

TSA PreCheck makes all the difference at this airport. Well worth it.
Use the expert line or the family line in security, if you qualify. These lines are a bit shorter, but security still takes longer than most airports.

Uber pickup is not easy. Just call your driver and have him find you.
Pick up ground transportation on the first floor.

Security can be hit or miss. Made it through in less than 10 minutes yesterday. If the lines long, look for the expert travelers line. incredibly fast!
When returning a rental car, DO NOT refuel at Suncoast Energy or Sun Gas. They price gouge, and charge $5.95/gallon for gas. No signs posted outside. Be warned!
Security line is longest I have seen in ages. It was a one hour wait at 545 am! Get here early!
TSA Pre-Check is great! It took a matter of seconds instead of hours to get thru security!
We signed up for #Clear so we can Speed you through #airportsecurity at #MCO
Far end bathrooms in baggage claim usually have most privacy.
BronzeAgeJanuary 4, 2015Beware of American Airlines!! On the way in, they lost our luggage in transit and hen when they found them hey sent hem to the wrong hotel. But still had to pay for luggage fee American Airlines Fail
Note to Self: Before agreeing to a date to meet with TSA at the airport - make sure it's not the day before Thanksgiving
