- Tim SheyOctober 11, 2011Everything's great, but save room for the strawberry shortcake if they have it, or be filled with eternal regret.
- Javier CoboApril 20, 2011The Halibut BLT is delicious, but be sure to ask for something other than onion rings ots. The O rings may be the only bad thing on the menu.
- HarryH is right, best lobster roll in the city but the star is the whole grilled daily fish. I prefer the bronzini!
- 2 thumbs up! Love! My west village haunt... Every dish is worth it here...I like the whole fish (any) and fries .... Mmmmmmmmmmmm!
- Best lobster roll in NYC. Whole bronzini is the 2nd best dish. Sundae's are amazing too.
- CharlottesOctober 6, 2015But disappointed with my meal at this local stalwart. The skin on my Arctic char was limp and fatty and my partner's lobster roll was drowning in mayo. Service was good tho.
- James DenmanAugust 7, 2014Great place, good atmosphere, but the Fish Taco's gave my girlfriend food poisoning. You've been warned.
- Saif DiaJune 5, 2013Great lobster roll and bouillabaisse, although serving sizes are inconsistent. However, service is horrendous. Also, pricey, even by West Village standards.
- TrevorJuly 1, 2014I've never had a fish well cooked here. Save your money for Pearl Oyster Bar, a few blocks over.
- Christine NgoAugust 30, 2010Heavenly lobster roll and grilled squid appetizer. Friendly staff and warm atmosphere. Could prob eat here every day.
- William MullinApril 29, 2012Lobster roll a little overrated. It is fine. But not a huge standout. Obviously people here have not tried a hot buttered lobster roll at Lenny and Joe's Fish Tale in Connecticut.
- Aaron DuncanJuly 16, 2011The best lobster roll in the city - worth the wait.. partic if having the fresh oysters!
- Jenna KangJuly 13, 2013It was great spot for fresh seafood. But the price of robster roll was insane...
- Best restaurant in NYC and best lobster roll on the east coast - Maine included
- Tracie FranklinJune 28, 2012The lobster roll was delicious but overpriced considering you can get 2 for that price at Luke's.
- erinocookiesSeptember 2, 2010MFC is a weekly staple. Grilled whole fish, fish tacos, cockles, lobster knuckles...all good!
- Sam SaundersSeptember 23, 2011Sardine special was great. Lobster roll too. Deep fried oysters and clams were only OK. Sliders were fine, not overwhelmingly great, but not bad.
- Pineapple FroyoMarch 6, 2019Disappointed. The artichokes side dish was like eating dried leaves. Fish of the day was grilled nicely but nothing special. Lobster knuckles was not outstanding, didn’t taste fresh.
- Helmut LangJuly 14, 2010NY. Nothing feels more like summer than a lobster roll and shoestring fries. This place wins for best lobster roll in the city. Read more

- I know you want a lobster roll, but that's the wrong move here. At Mary's you want to go for a whole fish. Ask your server which one, they'll know what's best today.
