The space is newly renovated light blue and airy. Mary has created a unique experience in the West Village and we love her unique dishes of seafood glory! Love! Love Mary!
One of my favourite places in NY! Everything was amazing. The restaurant is really cute, and the staff were so helpful and friendly. We wished we could've ordered more so we could try every dish!
Enjoy the Black Sea Bass (grilled), fries, sparkling rosé, & friendly staff. Place is small, so expect a wait (table for two on a busy night is easily 30+ min).
On your first visit, go ahead and get the lobster roll. Second visit I'd try the cod fish sandwich. Plan for it taking you a good hour to get through all the shoestring fries though.
Mary’s Fish Camp is a West Village spot with a beach-shack vibe. The lobster roll is minimalist, but it’s flawlessly executed…assuming you don’t mind a plentiful serving of mayo. Read more
The shrimp burger was Amazing the lobster rolls are really delish! The oysters & the banana bread pudding was supreme! Service exceptional! One of the best meals I have ever had!! 5 stars hands down!
"This is hands down the best lobster roll you will ever eat. The best seat is at the bar overlooking the kitchen, where they prepare the freshest and best seafood." Read more
The rest of the menu consists of seafood dishes with a global influence: yellowfin tuna sliders, Peruvian tilapia filets served with leeks, shiitakes and ginger, a shellfish bouillabaisse and more. Read more
Shoe. String. Fries. Eat 'em with a fork. Overall: good setup. Light atmosphere in an open kitchen leads to relaxed eating. You're here for the fish not for the fantabulous.
I love Mary’s Fish Camp! Start with the spicy campechana with crab, shrimp, avocado and serrano. For an entree, I highly recommend the grilled whole fish (the dorado is my fave)!
Lovely spot, nice staff and really good food. Try to catch a seat precisely between 6pm and 6:30pm, it might be full afterwards. We had the Lobster Roll and the King Salmon; it was fantastic.
The Atlantic Cod sandwich was one of the best fish sandwiches I've ever had. It was off the hook! Perfect seasoning, great dressing and soft but crunchy bread. Brussel sprout salad is also a must.
Order this and you will not be disappointed: elotes (Mexican corn), beet salad, fish tacos, oysters, deviled eggs, hot fudge sundae and banana cream pie. Come hungry!!!
Do you like fish? If so you'll like this place. No? Look elsewhere. This is a very seafood heavy menu. Good quality and good portions. Cozy dining room, gets busy.
Gonna wait whenever you arrive to this tiny amazing seafood joint in the WV! Arrive at 9ish, go find a drink to sit at 10... Kitchen slows down and great service! A must try lobster roll!
Sit at the counter with a tray of Moon Shoals, a bottle of wine, and maybe one of those famous mayo-heavy lobster rolls stuffed into a Pepperidge Farm bun. Read more
Lobster roll is buttery & delicious but very small portion compared to price ($28!!) Come early; any later than 7 pm and you'll be waiting for 2+ hrs. Great food overall if you don't care about price.
Great! Fresh! Yums town USA. I loved the use of spice with the seafood. And the kitchen is open and right in front of you which means you know there's no funny business goin on ;)
I'd vote for the fish taco's as well. The lobster roll is very good, but too mayonnaisey for my wife. And the lobster knuckles are fun and tasty if you are skilled at removal.
Get the lobster roll - if you haven't figured that out yet! But also, fried oysters and clams (steamers) are awesome. Best homemade tartar sauce on earth!
