Like Blue Hill (farm to table) with more informal and airy setting. Great service and reasonable for lunch. Cool private dining room in the basement. (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
This restaurant is sensational! The service was outstanding and everything we ordered from the menu (which was a lot) came out perfectly. Don't miss: roasted brussels sprouts and the quail!
not far from its sister to little owl, this west village saturday cozybrunch spot is a perfect alternative to try something different. the bacon, spinach, and fontina scramble is amazing
Unfussy, yet elegantly plated dishes are the key themes at Market Table. The Pan-Roasted Chicken is executed to a tee, and seafood lovers will find plenty of fish-centric dishes as well.
All food was delicious (quinoa hush puppies, sweet pearisotto, floundersandwich), but there was some confusion over the size of appetizers and sides. Sides large enough for a meal!
#FabuLIST #DubiDO great date night spot in a cozy atmosphere with farm to table food that changes seasonally. Loved the Arctic char, mushroom ravioli, and chicken. #DubiDONT carrotmarketvegetable
grilled sea bream with kohirabi, fennel & red grapefruit is sensational. quinoa hushpuppies w/ capers & lemon: superb. for dessert, get the apple pie with SOUR CREAMgelato - instantly devoured
Being one of the original restaurants with a menu based on only local seasonal ingredients in NYC, Market Table brings expertise to its constantly changing but always fresh menu.
The Bitches say: A+. It’s not often that we distribute A+s, but Market Table is worthy of the high marks. The food was outstanding and each dish was memorable in its own way. Read more
This cozy spot on Carmine St. abounds with terracotta floors, brick walls, sleek wood tables, and dishes that are market-fresh. Their special four-course, $55 menu on the 14th is pretty irresistible.
Wonderful.. Had the Warm octopus salad, fried oysters and braised short rib. All we're fantastic! Braised short rib didn't need a knife, it just fell apart. Definitely joined the list of ny favorites
Pan roasted chicken was juicy and crispy, the only issue I had was the risotto was not done. They did take care of me though. Try the ricottafritters. They are HEAVEN!
I love the Parsnip & Apple Soup with Pine Nuts, Brown Butter, and Pickled Winter Radish. The specials are always great, so be sure to check those out, too!
Local and fresh, Market Table provides healthy and delicious meals with ingredients right from the farm. We highly recommend the incredible honeydewgazpacho.
Go for lunch or brunch and get the burger. Eight ounces of brisket and sirloin by Pat LaFrieda. White cheddar, house made pickles, carmelized onions, lettuce, and tomato.
Great service and generally good food. The corn side, melonsalad, and gelato were excellent. The broccoli was over salted and the cheese plate was mediocre.
If you come for lunch, try the chicken salad sandwich. The bread that the sandwich comes of is soft and savory, and the salad complements the sandwich nicely.
just good, standard American food. menu changes pretty regularly and its a great, reliable place to take folks in from out of town if you want to stick to the west village
heard great things in the past so finally tried it. octopus salty &over-softened. carpaccio was gimmicky w/the fries. duck confit okay. short ribs were really good. maybe bc gabe studman left.
