For Mexico City standards the menu is pretty authentic but the flavours are bland and well bellow average! Shame :-( Mestizo still rules for best authentic flavours

Small entrance with people queuing hoovering over other tables. A couple left after waiting 30mins for a taco. I shared the classico which was boring, chips not fresh enough. The chorizo was ok. :-/
Undeniably fantastic food, but expensive and some of the portions were small (ice cream especially). Wahaca serves about the same quality Mexican street food for a lot less. Amazing Micheladas though.
It all started 50 years ago, with El Farolito, a taquería in a little corner of the then unknown Colonia Condesa, located just west of the historic centre of Mexico City... London"s most authentic Mexican taquería. The same tastes, ingredients, flavours and smells as found in Mexico City.
