Currently, North terminal is not convenient due to the maintenance- Don't expect much in terms of comfort or modern facilities. It's a very tired and cramped place.
I met my wife here 20 years ago when we worked at the Gatwick Hilton - could been out of prison now if I committed murder lol

I don't like going through this airport, there's always a hassle. I bought round trip Gatwick Express & found out on day of return there was no service! Ended up taking taxi. Nope never again!

Kamal BMarch 15, 2014Taxi. never ever take a taxi between Heathrow airport and Gatwick. Robbery. 160 £. Take bus. Frequent service comfortable and MUCH cheaper.
Don't waste time at the bureau de change, you can take out euros at many of the ARMs commission free pre and post security.

If you're going to Victoria, avoid the gatwick express, take any ttain to Victoria, way cheaper and only takes 7 more minutes!!!!
