- Helena KunchamJanuary 11, 2018Had the kitsune atsu atsu udon and pork belly. Everything was too sweet even though the restaurant is very cute and Japanese.
- Robin HowieJuly 26, 2014Breakfast here is fantastic and quiet too. The kedgeree has awesome deep flavours.
- Atheer SulimanJuly 19, 2015Atsu - Atsu (hot-hot) beef udon with seafood broth was tasty and warmed me up.
- Clara WuJune 26, 2015this place is great for 1 or 2 to eat otherwise the wait is inhumane. I ordered 2 udons last time I went and the only regret I had was that I didn't have more room for more.
- Jared CreechSeptember 26, 2015Treat yourself. It ain't cheap but it's as authentic as you are going to get this far west.
- Emmanuel XMarch 21, 2017I'm scrutinising here because I know a place like Koya can do better. My udon was just too hot. Couldn't eat it for a good 20min, without hyperbole here. And what is it with Sky news radio on? Vibe 👎
- MaríaAugust 21, 2014Whatever you have, pair it with a hot ginger drink. It will warm up your heart. And soul.
- Faye DMay 24, 2016Great udon but not sure what the rave about the tofu was about. It was really poor value at £7
- Y YFebruary 6, 2018Always been having my udon fix here. This time around the lady who manages the queue was so rude. Ignore the lady and have good tempura instead.
- Stephen OMarch 15, 2015Everything's good! But don't come too late, as the popular dishes and daily specials can sell out
- Winnie ChaiSeptember 20, 2018Came here for breakfast. Rice porridge w variety of Japanese pickles. So good .
- Buta miso udon with a poached egg! Get a hot ginger too!
- In love with the casual atmosphere and regularly craving the ざるうどん (zaru udon).
- MelAugust 12, 2014Excellent curry don. Prawn was super hot! Came with nice miso, but service was a little slow.
- PaulMay 24, 2015Noodles and that's it. Won't be to everyone's taste especially if you're set on having Japanese. Noodles in all forms and textures. Quiet place and slow service. Great quality.
- Yoonjung ChoiJune 3, 2019Liked here! Udon is good but the udon noodles should have been more cooked. It’s slightly undercooked. Other than that, it tastes good. Gyu-katsu is a bit disappointing. Beef are gamey.
- Zhenshuo FangSeptember 19, 2017Definitely come here for breakfast to avoid waiting in line for hours!
- InesJanuary 28, 2019Very authentic Japanese udon restaurant. Too bad my gyu-katsu was way too overcooked ☹️.
- Kate GomesOctober 28, 2015We had very high expectations and it was good but not great. You can definitely get better, cheaper in Soho.
