More of a scene than an excellent food experience. Still, the food and cocktails were solid. The pickles were good—try the pickled eggs.

The Sausage Gravy Smothered Chicken and Biscuits is phenomenal. The buttermilk fried chicken at Jacob's is the best I've ever had--this coming from a southern girl.

Cheese grits are super cheesy and yum. The home fries are really fried - almost burnt. Biscuit french toast is amazing - really huge portion so best to share.

The chicken and pancake dish is ENORMOUS. Definitely split with your companion. By 11am on a Sunday the wait for 4 was an hour.

Wait here on weekends are long; expect 1-1.5 hrs. Sweet tea is sweetened with honey; honey chicken and fried green tomatoes are def worth getting

Quite enjoyed their dill pickles. Lots of potassium in those babies. Highly recommend biscuits and fixins. The salted butter was on point.

The pickles are super good but honestly the fried chicken is overhyped. It's solid but not the best around. But the pickles! Pickle backs here real intense cuz the cups are real big, adding delay

Biscuits not that best I have had, but decent overall and reasonably priced. My bacons, eggs n cheddar on biscuit was a bit dry. Hot sauce to the rescue!

The place was so dark during dinner. Had trouble reading the menu and seeing our food. Food was excellent though! Try the Deviled Eggs and Bread Pudding.

Food is great. Highly recommend the chicken, bacon, eggs an cheese on a biscuit sandwich and the matzoh ball soup. Portions are big.

Get everything; fried pickles, not-fried pickles, mac & cheese, cheese grits, fried chicken sandwiches are all fantastic. Good beer selection, but about $1-2 overpriced and NOT 16 oz. pours.
