Das Hofbräuhaus ist ein weltberühmter Münchner Bierpalast. Es war lange Zeit der Sitz der dazugehörigen Brauerei Hofbräu, woraus es auch die Berechtigung für die weitere Nutzung des Präfix Hof ableitet. Das Gebäude liegt in der Münchner Altstadt am Platzl.
