Jake SmithJuly 6, 2015A must do once in your life (at least!). Get a pretzel from the pretzel girls, listen to the oompa band, order a schnitzel, and enjoy the beer (I loved the Dark Radler in particular).

David HudsonOctober 16, 2016Pork knuckle was great. Beer was great. Pretzels were the size of a small child. Be prepared to sit with strangers but that's part of the fun. Great experience and a must see if you're visiting.

Brad HagerNovember 9, 2015Good place, yes it's touristy & loud but still fun. The pork knuckle, veal sausages & big pretzels are great. Dunkel beer is the BEST!! I do NOT recommend the apple strudel, MUCH better other places.

One of the best restaurants in Munich. Sit downstairs in the "Schwemme" for the real Bavrian HB feeling, or go upstairs to the equally authentic, quieter restaurant. Same kitchen! All food is great

The building itself is beautiful and they have a traditional band which makes for a nice atmosphere. Service isn't great and the food is below average. Augustiner HBhaus is significantly better.
