Fred Spofforth: High tea here was great. Fabulous location in the refined, grand courtyard of the old post office. Staff were very friendly and professional. Excellent selection of teas.

Fred Spofforth: Spectacular and spectacularly big. Easily a day to do it justice. If you have less time limit yourself to only some of the collection. Crowds around the Mona Lisa are a mosh pit.

Fred Spofforth: Pasta was tasty, good atmosphere and professional staff. Dessert was excellent - I had carpaccio of pineapple with lemon sorbet which was excellent.
Fred Spofforth: Beautiful gardens with spectacular views. A couple of nice spots to eat a picnic but there are cafes. For the kids there is a cliff walk but it is not always open so check the days - it looks fun.

Fred Spofforth: Amazing little museum showing the life and work of Sir John Soane. There are clever architectural techniques applied in this small house which also contains Soane’s eclectic collection.
Fred Spofforth: Peaceful setting away from the crowds of Perisher and Thredbo. Fun activities to do, lots of wildlife and beautiful picnic spots by the river.
Fred Spofforth: Excellent food in a modern, casual setting. Entrees were very good, pastas tasty and the pizza delicious. I had the bistecca which was good but expensive. And there are good options for the kids.
Fred Spofforth: Cheap and cheerful Chinese. Not fine dining but a hearty quick meal at a reasonable price. Honey chicken, dumplings and chicken noodle were tasty.
Fred Spofforth: Awe-inspiring tale of Mawson’s 1911-14 expedition to Antarctica. Very friendly and enthusiastic staff provide great insight into the expedition together with the building and the information panels.
Fred Spofforth: Very enjoyable museum with an eclectic collection focusing on Tasmanian history and environment. Enjoyed the old-fashioned displays of lots of animals/insects in a beautiful heritage building.

Fred Spofforth: Spectacular views back to the Hazard mountains and Wineglass Bay. An easy 5 min walk from the carpark so a good walk if you are short on time. The path is well maintained with a very slight incline.
Fred Spofforth: While the place has parts that are a bit tired, the talk about Tasmanian Devils during feeding time, feeding the kangaroos and seeing sugar-tailed gliders made the visit worth it. Kids loved it.
Fred Spofforth: Great way to see Freycinet. We did the tour on a rainy day but was enjoyable nonetheless. Tour guides were lovely and the cuppa and biscuit in a quiet bay half way through the tour was welcome.
Fred Spofforth: Great rocks for climbing and exploring. You can take quite a long walk along the coast. The blow- hole is fun but the whole area is good to explore as well.
Fred Spofforth: Beautiful. Beaches are spectacular. We did the 12km loop to Wineglass bay lookout to Hazard Beach and back to the start. Great walk with plenty of bird life. Take your swimmer if you are brave enough.
Fred Spofforth: Beautifully constructed bridge from the early days of the colony. Ross is a short detour off the main highway and much more pleasant than busy Campbell Town (which is just up the road).
