    My favorite lunch in the city is a wheel of Mt. Tam or Red Hawk cheese from Cowgirl Creamery and an onion slab or baguette from Acme Bread Co.

    What a great area! I went back constantly! Awesome shops etc. They need to keep the homeless skaters out of the building after hrs to preserve the special place.

    Reminds me of Quincy market. Basically a large indoor farmers market with permanent vendors and higher prices. Great place to bring out of town guests.

    The Ferry Building is very popular, and I recommend it to anyone who is visiting San Francisco. They've got great restaurants (Slanted Door, MarketBar) and a morning farmer's market a few times a week

    Amazing food stores and farmer's markets. Price range varies. Ranges from oysters, cured pork, desserts, and hot dogs, you can find something for anyone. Closes early.
