Tuesday night - walked in, got pool ticket, and played shuffleboard while we waited. pretty cheap! Shuffleboard is $5.50/person/hr, Pool is $5/person/hr
The quintessential dive NYC pool room. No-frills, quite spacious, and a great hangout. Plenty of alcohol flowing with table service. Ping-pong in the back. No TVs.
How describe this place ? It's a parallel time place you though that didn't exist anymore. You'll find : live jazz, foosball, billards, boardgames, and hipsters from all the previous decades mingling.
Feels like a bar in a suburb circa 1985 where divorcées go and give their kids a fistful of quarters while they get hammered and hook up in the back seat of a Buick.
If you like live music, this is THE place to be! For those that like a spot of competition it's also got pool, pong and loads more! Remember life's more fun when you're keeping score!
Ping pong, billiards, foosball, shuffleboard, board games 👍🏼Barely a wait on a Friday if you come around 6-7pm. But after 10pm there’s a long line on a Friday night.
Play ping pong for a pretty cheap price. Live music is also a nice touch. Or, if you're in the mood to play chess, this is the place to be. Fun for small or large groups.
It's game city down here! Pool, ping pong, shuffleboard, chess, scrabble.... So you can listen to some sick jazz music while you drink and play games. Not too shabby.
The co-existence of a concert venue and pool hall is nice on paper, not in reality. You really have to love the music and be able to ignore all the others not listening to it at all.
Hit It Sunday night at 8:30, when it's uncrowded, lotsa game tables are free, & the house Big Band plays. (= The most extraordinary assemblage of young jazz talent in the city, yours for a $3 cover)
