Fun place when you want things to do while you drink, but the wait times for ping pong / shuffle board / games get long so get your name on the list early, even if you leave and come back later.

Had a great time at this gem in Greenwich village! Grab your tix for all tables and wait by the football tables. We had 6 in our grp & got 3 different tix. Long wait but well worth it! Jazz was ok.

My good friend and I came here this morning on a whim! We had so much fun playing pool, taking shots and listening to some great live Jazz music! I truly recommend this place! It's $3 at the door!

A must-see jazz club in NYC that reflects this city's jazz stage wery well. Also there are games to play whilst listening to live performances. Great prices, beautiful people, open till late hours.

Hidden gem in the West Village. It's an adult playground, like your dream basement on steroids. Pool, shuffle board, board games, ping pong, live jazz, and cheap beer. Grimy, but in a great way.

One of the few places that hasn't changed much over the years. Still great. Loads of games, live music, never too packed, great beer and snack prices. Best on-a-budget fun in the village.

For my first 4 years in the city (from Upper East Side) this was the only bar I'd take out-of-towners to. Pool, ping pong, scrabble, chess, PBR, live jazz. Don't go anywhere else.

Great place, with affordable drinks, young crowd and usually good music. I always take my guests here and they love it. If you have the chance to see the "Gospel Queens" do it!

Below street level bar and music venue for drinks, table tennis, chess, checkers and more. There are also live bands that often add to the cost at the door but are always worth it for the energy.

Great place for large groups, multiple table tennis rooms, lots of pool tables, & board game possibilities. Live music is a plus & go with the beer special, no need to explore the menu.

Far too crowded on weekend nights, but marvelous nonetheless. Come with friends on a weekday or early afternoon on some rainy Saturday. Beer & table games at a fair price in the center of town.

The vibe is amazing! The live jazz music was great. We played Pool, Ping Pong and Chess while having beers. The bartender was a tad rude but whatever. We always have a blast!

pool hall, with live music/jazz... there aren't enough speakers to hear music if far away from stage!! cheap games and the equipment (both tables and paddles/sticks, balls,etc) are in good condition !

There are lots and lots of pool tables and shuffle boards here (and board games for $1). And there are lovely jazz concerts. I will definitely come back!

This is more of a game bar that happens to have jazz. There isn’t enough seating around where the artists perform, so if you don’t grab a seat yuck you have to stand.

Cool in concept. Love games, jazz, atmosphere, etc, but the jazz performers are really full of themselves. Prioritized a video recording over an audience and gave us shit about it. Pretty lame.

Fat Cat boasts the best basement playground in the city. When you're done with pool, you can belly up to the bar, or dominate a Ping-Pong table, or crash on the many thrift-store couches.

This is more like a dive bar than anything. Great for college students or anyone who wants to play ping pong, pool, or chess. Plays jazz music in background. Men's bathroom doesn't have door.

One of my favorite bars in NYC. Looks like your friend's basement, but the best stuff—live jazz, ping pong, pool, shuffleboard, and scrabble (all games charge by the minute). Plus, cheap PBR.
