- Nicole ReganApril 19, 2016Fun place when you want things to do while you drink, but the wait times for ping pong / shuffle board / games get long so get your name on the list early, even if you leave and come back later.
- Marivic GFebruary 24, 2015Had a great time at this gem in Greenwich village! Grab your tix for all tables and wait by the football tables. We had 6 in our grp & got 3 different tix. Long wait but well worth it! Jazz was ok.

- Hidden gem in the West Village. It's an adult playground, like your dream basement on steroids. Pool, shuffle board, board games, ping pong, live jazz, and cheap beer. Grimy, but in a great way.
- One of the few places that hasn't changed much over the years. Still great. Loads of games, live music, never too packed, great beer and snack prices. Best on-a-budget fun in the village.
- David GreenbergerSeptember 4, 2014For my first 4 years in the city (from Upper East Side) this was the only bar I'd take out-of-towners to. Pool, ping pong, scrabble, chess, PBR, live jazz. Don't go anywhere else.
- DUDUJuly 26, 2015Great place, with affordable drinks, young crowd and usually good music. I always take my guests here and they love it. If you have the chance to see the "Gospel Queens" do it!
- DoubleDeuceMay 3, 2015Below street level bar and music venue for drinks, table tennis, chess, checkers and more. There are also live bands that often add to the cost at the door but are always worth it for the energy.

- Bradley KayFebruary 19, 2017Far too crowded on weekend nights, but marvelous nonetheless. Come with friends on a weekday or early afternoon on some rainy Saturday. Beer & table games at a fair price in the center of town.
- Arjun ModakJanuary 18, 2015Cheap booze and a very chilled out place to hang out. You can play ping pong, pool, shuffle board while listening to live jazz music. Place mostly filled with students from NY university...

- Hannah ParvazJanuary 11, 2017Couple of dollars to get in and cheap beer and wine. Big music and sunken sofas make for a great night.
- Ashley MowreyJune 26, 2018This is more of a game bar that happens to have jazz. There isn’t enough seating around where the artists perform, so if you don’t grab a seat yuck you have to stand.
- Andrew ChoiOctober 13, 2014Come for the live jazz and all the fun & game. Put your card in for ping pong / billiards ASAP, and challenge some strangers to foosball while you wait.
- AnikaDecember 27, 2015NB bar has beer & wine only. Like the atmosphere. Live music, sofas, dancing, board games, table tennis. Mixed crowd: students & older regulars.
- Campbell BirdNovember 4, 2017Cool in concept. Love games, jazz, atmosphere, etc, but the jazz performers are really full of themselves. Prioritized a video recording over an audience and gave us shit about it. Pretty lame.
- amNewYorkNovember 7, 2012Fat Cat boasts the best basement playground in the city. When you're done with pool, you can belly up to the bar, or dominate a Ping-Pong table, or crash on the many thrift-store couches.
- Raffaele NappiAugust 20, 2012Take it easy man...you know that the Dude abides and so should you. Have a sit and a nice cold beer. Listen to some music sitting in an old and dusty couch and watch people play pool or foosball.
