- Check out the planes. There is a really good selection on offer.
- Possibly the worlds worst airport. Security is slow and unorganised. Forced walk via duty free, more shopping mall than airport. Avoid if at all possible

- Take a picture if your flight is delayed. We'll make a collage by the end of the year :-)
- Gerry McCaffertyMay 8, 2013Security seems to be getting busier over the last few weeks for some reason. Would leave yourself half an hour for security at least!!
- Michael BoltonFebruary 12, 2012More choice pre security not sure a seafood bar and yo sushi are my first choice of restaurants needed in the small terminal and it's £1 to drop off rising to £5 after 10 mins bit of a rip off
- Fast track security queue is often longer than the regular queue, save your money!
- There's a Costa and whsmith near gates 1a-c. Use to avoid the crowds
- The new airport security (introduced in November 2014) is very slow. Expect long queues and frustated people 😔
- Magenta SunsetNovember 20, 2010You can't take the train from the airport, you have to take the bus into the city centre where the Waverly Train Station is located
- When Dropping Off make sure you have £1 and don't pay by card. You can only Drop Off in the Drop Off area
- Save time and travel to the airport naked, you'll only have to get dressed all over again after Security...
- Almost calm, sane and tolerable at 8am, waiting for 9am flight. And daylight too!
- omarAugust 14, 2012Despite the cute name, EDI security is ruthless. They made us move our liquids into tiny bags, all for the security theatre of it. Realize security may be slow
- Steven VermeulenAugust 4, 2013Pass security check fast. You have food, drinks and shops after security
