Get your food outside in the "Airport Arkaden" Area. Excellent Sushi. After security the choices are limited and overpriced. One of the few airports left with lots of smoking areas- Olga R.March 8, 2015Wifi is free only for 30 minutes. Otherwise, that's a pretty nice airport. Security checkpoints are modern, passport control is fast, coffee's also bearable.

Lovely airport but shopping and food options are better before security.
Didn't see any fast food places cept the pizza place but those pricey it was certainly nice pizza! :D

It’s a small but cosy airport. Plenty of food options. No or very small lines for security checks
Nice airport, but get here early all the same. Check-in queues can be very long and winding 🥲

ElifMay 14, 2022Check the airport application before arriving the airport. I was diverted 3 security gates one in another terminal and I was almost missing flight. Without a luggage and 90 minutes before the flight.

Tori SovakDecember 17, 2016Easy airport to navigate. But only 30 minutes of free wifi. Be sure to get food before crossing the "border" as there's no food on the other side.
Passport police was so friendly, smiling and talkative who surprised me a lot :)
Regardless of what class of service you are flying, there are lounges that you can enter by paying at the door: 1- Hugo Junkers Lounge (B)= 27€. 2- Open Sky Lounge (C) = 27€
Berk MesekiranApril 16, 2017The food and shopping facilities are definitely and ironically better before the security.
If you have a morning international connecting flight, then you better hurry to the immigration counter. The no. of people queued up are (usually) far more than the no. of officers at the counter.
Not best, but not worst airport neither. No free wifi anymore so fly often and get access to business lounge with blackjack and hookers (read as beer and internet connection free of charge).
People at reception in Lufthansa's lounge are a pain! Because of a strike booked to 6h earlier flight thus way too early for first meeting, but not allowed in lounge because I arrived (not departing).
