Love love love this place! If you are ever in Syracuse, NY you have to go to the original. The vibe is completely different but still the same great food!

It gets packed at dinner time, so the earlier you go the better, but the tables by the bar are all first come first serve. You must order a plate of fried green tomatoes.

Just come here! Gets crowded so make a reservation if you have a group. If it's date night, get beers at the bar while you wait.

Enjoyed everything on the swag sampler plate. Preferred the brisket over the pulled pork. Ribs were good. Cajun potato salad better choice over boiled potato. Southern creamy style w egg.

As a native Rochesterian, the wings with the garlic/chipotle/pepper sauce are very nostalgic, evoking images of wide right, no goal and Keith Smart.

Apps: Fried Green Tomatoes and The Shrimp, ask for them hot (they are normally served cold, but are to die for when the are hot.) Entree: COMBOS! Sides: Mac and Cheese & Syracuse Salt. No dieters!

Sweet baby Moses, the BBQ basted turkey burger and fried green tomatoes are out of this world. I'm serious. Sangria is really good, too.

Possibly best chicken wings in the city. Order them with the Devil's Duel sauce if you got the balls. If wait time's too long spot an outside table, which is usually shorter wait.

BBQ chicken is ready with your hands good. Love coleslaw...it is both mayo & vinegar based. Brisket a bit dry and I hate that it came pre sauced.

Don't come hungry: Between the wait for a table and the wait for your food, its an hour wait. If you're not drinking it feels even longer. Oh the food is good, you just need people who talk with you.

Food is pretty on point for a generic (meaning non-region specific) ‘cue joint. Sides are solid. Decor and setting are weird. Plastic cups? After 15 years, needs a fresh perspective maybe.
