Fairly removed from downtown, so be prepared for a hike into the city. Hotel shuttles are outside of baggage claim while personal pick ups are one level below.
I spend a lot of time in the business cubicles on the upper level of terminal B. Nice quiet area to get things done before your flight.

Next time your going through TSA at DIA and you have loose change in your pocket...DROP IT IN!
Everything here is slow and not well organized, but it’s a hub that (sometimes) gets you where you need to go!

When flying Frontier, take the bridge to Concourse A instead of the train to cut down on security wait time. Plus the bridge offers great views of the airport!
East gates are numbered even with blue color code, west are odd with red. A little trick to navigate through the airport

John NimmoMay 11, 2013Military members traveling in uniform do NOT (based on current rules) need to remove their boots when going through the ProVision scanner. Some of the TSA agents have not been informed of the policy.
if you need to pick up a pair of earrings or a necklace (and who doesn't) run in Radio Road on A concourse. They have great emergency items!

New bridge security is awesome! Keep laptops in bags, shoes on, very efficient , leads directly to gate A without train :)
This place is just so big. Leave yourself time to checkin, and get to your gate.
yamil ahuileSeptember 12, 2012Free wifi through the Boingo hotspot. If you have a news app on your phone, open it and click on the categories that interest you. This will download all the news you want for your flight.
Starbucks can be found at the far end of terminal B just follow the numbers as they get higher your getting closer to that sweet nectar!
If you happen to be in dia today stop by Hudson books pick up Steve Jobs bio or the Help kids driving you crazy we have games and books for them too from hello kitty activity kits or the hunger games

Fun fact: DIA is the largest airport (54 miles!) in the US and 2nd largest in the world (in terms of surface area).
If you have a few minutes to spare get your shoes shined at concourse B. Shines are great and you pay whatever you want.
The rental cars are not in the airport. You have to take a shuttle so make sure to add in additional time. Also, the security check is horrible so you'll need extra time for that too.

Timberline has pretty hearty and reasonably priced breakfast fare! Steak (12oz NY strip) and eggs for $14? Score!

Block the trains doors. It will keep asking you to move then forcefully shut the door. Also. Be sure to grab the first seat. It's a cool ride.

Cool hidden art in the Tram tunnels, so get by the front or back car windows. Kids will love it.
Ham, egg and cheese croissant at Pour La France at the top of the escalator from the train in B Concourse - delish. Pair with an espresso and your doing alright for airport food.
Elizabeth WheatOctober 14, 2013Smoothest security I've ever been through. Friendly TSA. Kept my shoes on and didn't have to get my laptop out. Five minutes and I was done!- When you are in C concourse for a long layover, go to the 3rd floor where youll find oulets and lots of quiet space..
If you need transportation to a downtown hotel, use SuperShuttle. Round trip was about $30. Pretty fast and painless. However, you will have a bus full so get comfy. Window seats are the best.

Good: wifi & nursing rooms. Bad: If you have a stroller/wheelchair it is awful. The # of elevators you need to take between different stages is definitely unnecessary.

Expansive and roomy, there are extensive services at DEN. Good thing, as of late the weather is shit, and one will be stuck here.
Zach DuckworthSeptember 17, 2013If you're in the A Gates section and the bathrooms are busy, you can find some hidden restrooms off the beaten path upstairs.
Cops are all over Pena due to bridge construction that has been non-existent for over three weeks. Think the speeding tickets are funding the bridge project.
Man…this is a poorly organized airport. Very little security signage. If you’re looking for priority, good luck.
