It's a Marriott, identical to every other Marriott you've been to. Not necessarily a bad thing: it's clean, well-equipped, courteous. The location - in the heart of the Financial District - wins.
Friendly staff. Not all the city views are great, lots of construction going on around. Particularly, don't go for the BayBridgeview unless you want to see buildings under construction. Great wifi.
During the weekday head over to the secret deli across the street inside the office building with the fountains outside. Great breakfast burritos. Get the small. It is big enough. They also have SoBe.
Nice rooms and well located are positives. However negatives are that I was not aware at the time of booking that it was under massive construction to upgrade so a mess and also gym out of action.
I was here two years ago and the Internet was terrible. HOWEVER... The staff told me they recently updated it and I can honestly say it is the fastest hotel Internet I have ever used! Good job!
They gave us a room where it was impossible to sleep. Next day the gave us a upgrade. Parking price was horrible almost $75 per day!! Nearby there is a parking by $33.
Do not show up at Starbucks in the hotel near closing time at noon on the weekends (which is ridiculous in itself) and expect to be served, much less with a smile.
Breakfast is 17.99. :( Bring an airport express with you to give you wifi in the rooms. Two computers for you to use in the lobby plus one boarding pass only one.
Relax and recharge at Courtyard San Francisco Downtown in the exciting SoMa district. Our updated hotel offers chic accommodations, smart amenities, free Wi-Fi, restaurants, a gym and 16 elevated event venues.
