Dan LamDecember 21, 2014Great local coffee spot. The coffee baristas are chipper and nice despite the Grumpy title. The coffee is one of the best tasting coffee in NYC. Totally worth it.- Great, flavorful coffee roasted on premises. Large, communal tables in the back, quiet, library-like atmosphere makes it ideal for bringing a laptop and getting some work done.

They roast their own coffee here, and they're usually great. Try a guest espresso or pourover and a treat baked by them on the Lower East Side. A good number of plugs but sometimes overwhelmed wifi.

All of the baristas are awesome minus the rude glasses/big hair lady. I asked for more chocolate in my cocoa, told me how "they do it" & then proceeded to shoot tons of syrup in the cup. Thanks, jerk.

Great coffee, pastries, muffins, and veggie sandwiches. Plus some decent art hanging on the walls which rotate periodically.
