Nonna D's Oatmeal Lace is great!! 😋☺️ I wasn't a fan of the pretzel cone though, I think it was a bit too thick. A normal sugar cone would've been better.
Best ice cream in New York. Try the Salted Crack Caramel for a solid flavor, but the weirder it sounds, the more of a slam dunk the flavor is bound to be!
The quirky astroturf-covered exterior is the only thing that’s not 100 percent natural here. Organic ingredients and hand-churned scoops keep ice cream lovers of all ages wrapped around the block.
Oatmeal lace and ooey gooey are by far the best, but you really can’t go wrong w any flavor here. Once September comes, stop going. Freezer burn is not it
Salted Crack Caramel is... a very dangerous thing. Mexican Hot Chocolate was good. They had a flavor, Moroccan something that was mint with fig in it. Go for the crack, but the rest are good too.
Not your typical ice cream store! Most warm and inviting staff I ever encountered. Unique, delicious flavors. Stayed way past closing and wasn't rushed at all! Loved it.
Long lines for ice cream sound crazy, right? Not when the ice cream is this brain freezingly good. Simple sugar cone with ANY flavor will make your summer day. Give the pistachio a try, it's aces!
'The scoops have a good texture and the salty, smoky, bitter Salted Crack Caramel flavor is an SE favorite. Flavors rotate often, but luckily that's a mainstay on the menu.'
No point offering fave flavors cuz they add delicious new ones all the time! (Some perennials like salted crack caramel are always there.) Get a spiral cone when they have 'em—delicious, all too rare.
Prepare for long crowdedlines. Ordered the salted crack caramel and the ooey gooey pound cake ice cream. Very disappointed in the crack caramel, very bitter and salty! Loved the pound cake ice cream!
Not just ice cream but THE treat you need. All flavors are great but I recommend "the cookie that crumbles". Tip: always ask for one sample... Or more!
Small size of the Salt Crack Caramel is big enough to share with your buddy. Try before you get, it might be too salty for you if you are not from the States.
Lots of exciting flavors, and all made entirely in-house. They make their ice cream from local milk which they pasteurize themselves (!) as well as local cream and eggs.
Never seen it before and had to get it - mexican hot chocolate was PERFECT. The staff was super friendly and helpful, this is my new favorite ice cream spot!
You can't go wrong with any flavor, and the salted crack is great, but IMO "Ooey Gooey" and "The Munchies" are supreme, esp. for sweet-and-salty junkies
During the summer they close at 10 on weekdays and 11 on Friday and Saturday, but as long as you squeeze in the door before closing time you're golden, even if there's a long line.
Winner of Best and Most Accurate Use of the Word 'Crack' in the Village Voice 2011 Best Of issue! The Salted Crack Caramel will cause symptoms of withdrawl.
