- This place is the best Mexican food I've had in New York. Go for the Bistec Tacos, you won't regret it. 100% stand by my word.
- Zac ZellersJune 17, 2015The pernil torta here is a thing of beauty. The pork cutlets are like silk. Bread is soft, white, and mild with a good crust. Jalapeños-a-plenty. At $6, a torta of dreams.

- chin1taSeptember 29, 2016Excellent nachos, giant tacos, and (before 11am) - the huevos rancheros. No frills, but the vibes are good, the food is affordable, and authentic.
- Zii HammadAugust 27, 2014Inexpensive, awesome, and one of the few unpretentious places in the area. Frosted mugs, Negra Modelo, and filling food from friendly staff should make this outlast other Greenpoint food spots.
- Don't expect to eat the burritos with your hands (as this is still East Coast Mexican food we're talking about), but it's still pretty solid. Call ahead, they're nice.
- A truly special place dear to my heart. Enjoy your beer in a frosted mug and feast on the shockingly inexpensive and delicious guacamole.
- Billy KeenlyAugust 23, 2014Anything and everything. Honestly, I had most of this menu in the 5+ years I lived in their delivery zone, and it's all good. The mixed combo fajita is enough food for two.
- Shaun Farrugia🌹August 24, 2014I've had numerous LA friends comment that this is just like many of the fine establishments back home. We've got a gem here Greenpoint. Don't let it be lost to time.
- ben mAugust 21, 2014Chorizo tacos and Negra Modelo in a frosty mug. So great and for that price? Wish I lived closer!
- Cole KennedyJanuary 25, 2021Enormous burritos. The chicken burrito is a little dry, but still very tasty.
- GothamistJune 6, 2012At this cheery Mexican diner you can get chips & salsa, two enormous burritos and two beers (in frosted mugs!) for under $30. Enough said.
- Pork burrito and chips and salsa (deep fried in crack) are a winning combo at this Mexican diner frozen in time
- Samantha FreemanAugust 15, 2015Chicken Tostatas are amazing and are so filling! Can't go wrong for $6.
- Solid fajitas and huaraches, my go-to spot in north Brooklyn!
- Matt DonatelliMarch 11, 2016Tortas are delicious and can last for two meals if you're a lighter eater!
- The quintessential Mexican food establishment in Greenpoint. Great prices, fast service, and a help-your-self beer cooler with frosted mugs. They also make a decent burger.
- Another Tip: You can order breakfast until 4 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Huevos Rancheros!
- Ewa MucekMarch 18, 2013Yummy Quesadillas! Full plates. Definitely someplace you can get good food for a good price.
- Authentic Mexican restaurant, really good value for money.

- The chips are so fresh that they're too hot to eat. The guac is great and the salsa is very hot, yum
- C OFebruary 13, 2014Placed order for pick-up, they got it wrong; called 2 complain. Same girl who took the order got a MAJOR 'tude & blamed me 4 placing the order wrong. To say the least, she hung up the phone on me.
- NachosNYAugust 25, 2010Get nachos here if you like jalapenos a plenty. The cheese is every where and tangy.
