If you have 2-3 hours before your flight, go to Zurich - it's just 9 minutes away and costs 10-12 euros. The last train back is at 00:27. But you won't have a chance to get into duty free zone after12
I made to my connecting flight in just 7 minutes! That's what I call excellent customer experience! ZRH puts many airports to shame especially CDG!!! Thank you! Tunde Hubina
Uber picks up from upper level Departure 2, not arrivalConfusing signs above doors leading outside - they identify what you can find there not the name of the door (how most USA airports work)
Want to pick some last minute lindt chocolates?!? Or any swiss chocolates for that matter...dont get bogged to the first shop U see...different offers are available in each store.
The inter-terminal train here plays Swiss noise, like mountain stream, cows mooing and Alpine horns. There's also speed-by ads in the tube that surprise train riders, but they're awesome.
If you flight Swiss and have to stay long time to connection, ask at Swiss company frontdesk about the internet voucher. You get free Sunrise internet for 2 hours :)
Really difficult to understand how this can be considered one of the best airports: unpolite and unfriendly people telling they don t understand you. must go to Singapore for a training
Tired of the airportretail mafia (the ones that don’t allow you to bring bottled water inside and then sell you water for fantasy prices). Go to a Kiosk and ask for 500ml OK.- water = 1.50 CHF
By European standards a good airport in terms of efficiency and cleanliness. But, perhaps one of the most sterile airports on earth. No atmosphere... just silence. Food outlets are ridiculously priced
Wi-Fi *is* free -- you need to connect, accept their TOS, enter your phone number, and then enter the code you then receive as an SMS. Annoying, but free.
The only reason wifi is so good is because it's time limited and there's nobody using it. There are free rest areas, but may be hidden behind escalators.
There might be no one at the economy class desk in check in 2 if you're flying with Swiss portflights early in the morning e.g. Cirrus airline. You can check in at the first/business class desk
New: free wifi for 60 mins. Go to one of the internet terminals identified by the @ sign - give your gsm nr - you'll receive an sms and click on link - you must be connected to ZRH wifisystem
