If you want to eat ehen you get to the s just airport, do so before you clear security. Only a gift shop with hot dogs and pretzels and maybe some sandwiches.Upvoted Jan 31
Ye WangMay 28, 2018Alamo rental car returns are to be parked in Budget slots. Alamo’s rental counter are with National. It operates 6am-12am midnight; outside those ours you’d have to use key drop.

Brett HildabrandSeptember 20, 2016My favorite tiny airport. Security, baggage, and the rental car counter are quick.- There is now an eatery past security called Kanawha Cafe. Serving hot & cold sandwiches, beer, wine, speciality coffees, etc. Very good!
According to the Flight Attendant there is NO CHANGE yet in procedures to use your computer on this flight. They are waiting on new manuals. Ya gotta love Red Tape.

Wish the markers on the Interstate were more specific for out of town folks trying to find this airport. I was on I77 going the opposite direction. Had to use GPS to retrace to I64 towards Beckley
Stephen WolfsonMay 27, 2013This is one of the smallest airports I've ever been to. It's super easy to get thru security but there's not much to eat or do once there.
Go to the gift shop for any last minute gifts or snacks- there is a great selection to choose from.2
Don't miss the Vandalia Gathering each Spring on the Capitol grounds.
if you leave your vehicle in long term parking and return to a dead battery, the lot attendant has a jump pack you can use.

Literally easiest airport to fly out of. Left hotel and dropped off rental and was through security and at gate in 20 minutes total
Click ClackNovember 16, 2012Avoid flying on United since the ground crew here can't get their $hit together. I repeatedly have to wait for checked bags in excess of 30 minutes.
