New favorite bahn mi in the city, just delicious. Cub Classic is utterly amazing, with superb BBQ pork, pate, perfectly toasted bread (+ jalepenos). Notice how many quality adjectives were used?
Jenny WangAugust 13, 2017Unlike some other lemongrass chicken banh mis I've had the one at Xe May was perfectly tender and juicy. The "Hog" was also packed with flavor. They got the art of toasting bread down to a T!
The cub classic is an absolutely incredible sandwich. Sublime.

Mild spice is plenty spicy. Go with the lemongrass chicken sandwich for hearty lunch under $9.
