- EArchitectDecember 27, 2016Try the Sonora (Chile Colorado)! Lean pieces of bite-size beef braised in a delicately puréed sun-dried peppers and herbs sauce. Rings of raw (or sautéed) onions on top. Amazingly tender!
- Cristie ( Bean )September 23, 2012The Serrano & Pollo Negro are two of my favorites. Also, the pomegranate margarita is delicious but very sweet. That being said, I haven't had a margarita or a dish here that has not been great.
- Bayard BrewinJune 25, 2013Cheery family-friendly TexMex set back from El Camino Real (look for Statue of Liberty in front). Gets crowded / limited parking but is well worth the stop. Huge margarita / food menu.
- PRO-TIP: order a sauce sampler before your meal so you can try before you buy! Mole, nueva, chipotle, verde, adobado/sonora, guajillo and red sauce.
- Angelica DelgadoAugust 2, 2013Good atmosphere. The Mole was authentic and savory. The Triple X drink was excellent. Peach Maragrita was was too sweet an heavy and was overpowered with a nectar purée sourly sweet taste.
- Varun NagarajaJune 24, 2021The best Mexican food. From the salsas to pollo guajillo to mole enchiladas, it was the most flavorful versions of these dishes I have ever had.
- Logan FrahmFebruary 9, 2014Chicken soup is amazing! The broth is so good! Good service, drinks, atmosphere. If your into mole very good. Rest of menu average
- Sabana Invierno is so good it has been my staple here for years! Also they do serve some mezcals but they are not on the drink menu so if you like that sort of thing all you have to do is ask :).
- Nirav ChitkaraFebruary 25, 2012Nice cozy atmosphere and great food! To top it off the al sol margaritas were amazing! Highly recommend for anyone looking to get away from mainstream Mexican cuisine.
- Bob GJanuary 15, 2011Pretty good Mexican food. I enjoyed everything I ate including the Sonora, pulled pork with adobo sauce. The diosa de la sol margarita was awesome! The service for our party was pretty good.
- It's the Big Sister of Fiesta del Mar and LA Fiesta. Slightly more upscale with the same great family recipes.
- Rom ComOctober 22, 2014The Guajillo chicken was delicious -- tender and flavorful chicken. They also had Negro modelo on tap! Order it with lime. Guaranteed to make your day better.
- Did you know that they have a dedicated Mole chef who comes in and spends his entire shift JUST carefully crafting his mole for hours and hours.
- Best Mexican restaurant in Silicon Valley! The margaritas are the BEST.
- Fantastic food, drinks, and service. I had the Enchiladas Al Guajillo last time... Amazing!
- Jason VitugFebruary 8, 2013If possible, make reservations. The atmosphere was intimate and the food delicious. Nacho chips and salsa were a plenty.
- Good food, great service, great guacamole, huge portions, great atmosphere.
- My go-to Mexican. The quality is super high. Love this place!
- You absolutely cannot go wrong with the mole or any of their amazing margaritas!
- Steve PaulinMarch 9, 2012Great food, delicious margaritas, tasty salsa, and a fun atmosphere - this place is my favorite
- What's good here? Everything! - service, ambiance, food
- The Sopa Azteca is outstanding!! Order the cheese and tortilla strips on the side - you'll probably have soup leftover (and soggy tortilla strips aren't as tasty as crunchy ones!).
- Kevin D.August 26, 2014Try the "verde" Margarita while you're here. They taste even better then they look!
- James VertisanOctober 2, 2011The food was fantastic and the decor is amazing. A wonderfully romantic restaurant to take a date.
- Not sure what sauce to get? Ask for a sauce tasting plate - they're all amazing!
- Don't get overwhelmed by food lust when your order arrives. Take a BEFORE picture!
- BilalApril 28, 2011Maybe I'm crazy but the guajillo chicken tastes like a really mild chicken tikka masala! Yum
