This pagoda should be respected as a sacred place. I hope it will be in the future to give us Buddhist people living in London the real chance to find peace to meditate and pay tribute to Buddha.

26 July: The Pagoda was built in 1985, after the monks of the Nipponzan Myohoji Buddhist Order came to London and lived within Battersea Park.

One of the best bits of an awesome park - thoroughly recommend strolling through the lakes, seeing the gardens, visiting the Pump House Gallery and, of course, the Peace Pagoda.
