I love this place. The spicy seitan chopped ribbon noodles is awesome (medium spice)! The Ding Ding noodles isn't as enjoyable to eat. Egg and chive dumplings are a must! Scal. pancakes are meh.

Just had the Herbed Beef Soup with Hand-Pulled Noodles. The best soup I'd ever had in my life. Absolutely loved it and am coming back for more. #herbbeefsoup #handpullednoodles #hitthespot 🍽🍵💕

So many desirable choices, so little room in my stomach! Tried basically everything, you can't go wrong. The potstickers (dumplings) are sick! Do it up!

Lagman w spicy cumin lamb - meat was not gamey or lamb-like, lean & cool to the touch. Push meat deep into soup to warm. Noodle was perfectly al dente & chewy. Soup was light on flavor. Wait - long

Lagman noodle w spicy cumin lamb - meat didn't taste gamey or lamb-like, very lean, cool to touch. Definitely push down the meat to warm it up. Noodle was perfectly al dente & chewy! Wait time - long

Ribbon noodles with seitan and extra veggies. Also get the tiger salad for extra green. Get it spicy level 2 or 3. Best had in-store. Good to share.

I liked the dapanji (spicy chicken on the bone with noodles in a stew), pork/chive dumplings. I'm about to try ding ding with spicy lamb cumin & the baozi.

The noodles are thicker than most and intriguingly uneven, chewy and delightful. The lamb cumin noodles are awesome. The highest level of spicy is VERY spicy.

The spicy cumin lamb noodles are so good. Great flavor, juicy and savory. Also has a nice addition of freshness with the cucumber.

Delicious chewy noodles, good dumplings too. Always busy so call ahead, and order one or two levels below your usual spiciness.

Lagman noodles with seitan and veggies are filling and interestingly seasoned, but spice level is often inconsistent. Sometimes medium is bland and sometimes it is FIRE.

Uzbek lagman - this is the best one in uptown Manhattan without a long trek to Brighton Beach. Pulling style is the same.

Used to be amazing. Now quite terrible since the new year (2018). Once excellent beef now fatty, full of tendons, and bad flavor. Lots of rotten vegetables mixed in. This place is a has-been.

The dapanji and the baozi rocked my world. Skip the scallion pancakes-you might as well dunk your face into oil given how greasy they are.

Dumplings were filling. The high spicy is ACTUALLY spicy. The low spicy isn't spicy at all. It's a long wait. Overall the food was good but not THAT good.

It wasn't as good as what I expected it to be. It sure seems delicious but it tastes more like pasta than Chinese. I probably won't go there again. :/
