With Georgian traditions tamada is a leader of table, person who introduces each toast. Tamada ought to be eloquent, intelligent, smart, sharp−witted and quick−thinking, with a good sense of humor.

Its a copy of bronze sculpture, dated 7th century BC, which was found while archeologicaal digs at Vani, Georgia.
