One of the safest bus terminal i've ever been. Good security with clean environment. You can grab a taxi easily even at midnight. Much peace compare to NYC
Never appreciated this bus terminal till I went to the megabus and bolt bus stops in NYC. It's much more organized here...and indoors! There's also a mcdonalds to grab a quick bite before your bus!
The terminal folks will bust your balls about using free electricity to charge your phone. Public domain in my opinion so piss off. Go see Kevin at South Station concierge and he'll hook you up!
Fast food restaurants on the same level as the departure gates and a packed convenience store for all and sundry. Try to arrive early for your bus, save yourself some stress
Greyhoundbus coming back from MTL to Boston on weekday morning is NEVER on time. Ignore the 6:45 am arrival, earliest would be 8:30 am. 1/50 chance of having an express bus which could be on time.
Nice old, but effective dual transit center for many train services and lots of buses... not great WiFi or food options!!! (Southbound Amtrak is here, northbound trains run out of a different station)
Going to western MA? You're out of luck cuz Peter Pan is the only bus that services Amherst, umass, etc. $30+ a ticket! More expensive than NY and you usually have to transfer in Springfield!
Lucky Star why do you have shitty people as staff? It's almost as if you don't want me to like you. Price is ok but some of your people could use an upgrade... or a lot of.
Good experiences with Mega Bus and Lucky Star. Bolt Bus has been THE WORST. DO NOT USE BOLT if you care about leaving or arriving on time, or don't want to be treated like cattle.
