An adorably eclectic place to grab a cup of tea. Food is absolutely delicious. Space is small so only bring a friend or two. No bathroom and cash only so come prepared! Read more

Wanted tea and sumpin' sweet. The "tea lady" was sweet herself, had little cupcakes and hibiscus tea. P.S. More vitamin c in a hibiscus tea than you normally have in a week. Hit the spot for my cold.

Came in to kill time before showing my next apartment and found a gem!! Lady at the counter couldn't be sweeter or more helpful. Iced ginger lemon green tea is super refreshing!

Adore this place. The scones, tea selection and cucumber sandwiches are to die for. Elsabeth is super sweet and makes you feel really at home. Come on a Sunday afternoon with a good book.

Went in and out to get iced tea but next time I'll need to stay because it's cozy and they have a good selection of teas with cute pots

Love this little hidden gem & all of it's cute flea market finds. A bit pricey but enjoy it nonetheless.

Leave your phone in your pocket, enjoy your company, look at some of the bookshelf options and take your time. Elspeth prefers it that way.

Elsabeth is the Jiro of high tea. Occasionally slightly abrasive, (mostly very sweet), and a genius of baked goods.

Scones and shortbread are to die for. Cash-only: bring exact change. Well, they take checks, too. Quirky place.

If you don't have cash handy, there's a deli right around the corner on 2nd avenue with an atm in it.

Order a pot of tea (or chocolate) and bring back memories of when you used to play tea-time as a kid. Don't tip them though -- they're superstitious.

Beware of the hard scones, but otherwise a solid place to knit and write.

They don't have a bathroom. Don't go to a place that pumps you full of liquids and then doesn't have a place to pee.
