The dumbbell stations can get pretty crowded around 5 p.m., same thing with the cable machines, so if you plan on working out in the afternoon, when 5 o'clock rolls around, that's a good time to leave
Ideal workout time is early in the morning when the gym is sparsely populated. If you can get there on the weekend just as they open, you can get a head start on the freeweights ahead of the lunks.
A lot of the members have a nasty habit of not putting their weights back after they're finished with them. As a courtesy to your fellow members, and as a gesture of kindness, put back your weights!
Unless you're looking to get in some cardio, or ab work, don't get here at 7 p.m. You'll never get in any work with the dumbbells. The pulley machines are generally just as crowded.
The gym is a place to work out, NOT TO TALK ON YOUR PHONE!! Also, wearing colored shades inside the gym DOES NOT make you look cool or like a stud muffin. It makes you look like an idiot!
As I was leaving one afternoon, some dude and his buddies were taking a shitless selfie x3, meaning the guy was taking a selfie with his two buddies in the locker room. Shirtless. Guys, seriously?
Apparently, they don't allow "outside equipment". The trainer guy came up to me when I was jumping rope, and said they don't allow, "outside equipment". Needless to say, I waited for him to leave.
