Nowadays almost always a good experience - but: the obnoxious bass-heavy music coming from Dr. Beer next door destroys everything. Whoever runs this place has to have a word with his neighbors.
Service can be flaky but the food here is consistently decent and inexpensive. The char kway teow (with beef so not the 'real' stuff) is nice, as is the pho with beef brisket. Fine for a casual lunch.
