This is the best chocolate. They use excellent cocao and not too much sugar, so you really taste the chocolate. Yum! Favorites include snowmen, honey caramel, "Richelieu", pave glace and hot cocoa.

Everything! Wonderful ganaches. Hot chocolate is thick and rich, the small is heaven enough, the large is diabetes inducing. Cakes are delicious. You can't go wrong. But very pricey!!!

Whoaaa: drink a milk chocolate Burdick Mocha. So good - probably the most chocolatey mocha ever! Also the chocolate-raspberry cake is the perfect mix of ganache and fruit.

Indeed awesome the hot milk dark chocolate. For first timers go for the classic. After that can try the single source, which is even darker.

AMAZING milk hot chocolate and macarons. All of their macarons are good and don't have all that unnatural coloring you see in many other places. Awesome environment with great service.

Pro tip: Burdick's will automatically give you a to-go cup if there are no open tables. Send a member of your party to immediately secure a table while the other waits to place an order.

Dark hot chocolate is deliciously and indulgently rich, dark, and decadent. Quite steep prices though -- $6 for a "large" cup, which is really just the size of a regular mug, maybe a bit smaller.

Cafe mocha was the best I've ever had. I was a little disappointed in the macaron but really the reason to go is the chocolate!

The lavender macaron, wrapped in a piece of wax paper for carrying, is the perfect chic treat. Pair it with a small dark chocolate and wander Harvard Square feeling decadent.

Aside from the hot chocolate, which is so delish & rich you only need the smallest size, for a change, try the chai latte. Splurge on a macaron or 2.
