Be sure to make a reservation if you want to swim a day or two ahead of time. Lovely cool clean creek with a high rock to dive off into.

Amazing! Perfect to stay all day long. Swimming, jumping and lay down. Alcohol is not allowed, but the security men don't check at all your bag. It's free to get in.

The county did such a good job managing crowds here - we reserved our two hour slot 2 months in advance and were rewarded with an almost private swim at the well.

It's easier to enjoy with shoes on that you don't mind getting wet. Bottom is mildly jagged and slippery. Shoes help. Lots of fun!

They started charging $9/adult and $5 for kids in May, PLUS you have to reserve a swimming time. Couldn't get in. Had to turn around back to Austin. Unbelievable. Such BS

Not a hot spring. It is a perennial spring fed from an underground water source. There's nothing hot about it.
