Gold, dark wood and white marble, being a host of American catholics in Rome, this church is a step-away from the lightness of classical renaissance era architecture. Dark but inspiring.

As of July 31st, there's a big useless scaffolding right in front of San Teresa. If the church wanted to piss off visitors they could hardly do better, short of hiding the sculpture altogether.

Viéndolo de cerca impresiona aún más. La iglesia demasiado recargada pero Bernini dejo el resto con el éxtasis. Lástima que gente como Dan Brown estropeen su significado
