Sacher-Torte was nice, but drier than I imagined, but I'd never had it before so I'm no expert! Service was very friendly and efficient, atmosphere was calm and cosy. I'd definitely go back again.
Original Sachertorte is a loud brand, but actually it's not something really special: dessert here wasn't much better than one we bought at the airport.
Enjoy the authentic Viennese coffee house atmosphere with a slice of original Sachertorte and a cup of Sacher coffee. A magnificent winter garden frames uninterrupted views of the State Opera House. Read more
If the line is too long try the Sacher Stube adherent to the original cafe. Same cake, same pricey prices and also a very elegant ambience. Service is very good.
Maybe the most authenticcoffee place in Vienna. Start with an Einspänner, try the Apfelstrudel and definitely the Sacher Torte mit Schlagobers. Just perfect!
One of the top cafes in Vienna and most famous in their sweets,, pro tip: ask about the combination they have on the menu so you could enjoy their coffee cake and abottle of water for a better price😉
If you visit Vienna you must try Sacher cake with whipped cream the traditional and delicious cake ❤️😍 it doesn't matter if you try it here or in another Cafe 👌🏼but this one is really yummy 💘
The Sachertorte here is the original, but in Slovenia, which was also part of the Austro-Hungarian empire, we use an improved recipe, which makes the cake juicier and the chocolate layer thicker :)
The original Sacher Torte is my long-term favourite, especially combined with the Sacher Mischung tea. The service is always friendly and helpful. Also the café is very pleasant, but a bit crowded.
In Vien, you should stop by this cafe to feel it’s historic kind of glow & elegance & try it’s famous sachertorte. It’s a chocolate cake with a sweet & sour taste.2 may share the cake.
Everything was perfect , especially the staff supper supper nice , food is awesome , it’s history !!! Strooongly recommenced , hot chocolate is a must ! I give it 10/10
Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff, but desserts and drinks very usual as everywhere. Sacher torte and Sacher Fudgecake too sweet, just tried a little.. People line at the front of hotel a marketing
The cafe is really good, nice design, calm and nice. As for Sachertorte which is acclaimed to be the best here (it was first time I tasted it), I did not like at all
As always, we had a great time at Sacher. Friendly service, good pastry and an ambience that really is something different. When in Vienna, a must visit location.
This is the cafe where the Sachertorte was invented and first served. Definitely worth to visit since the prices are average. Better to visit in the evening (I would say after 9 PM) to avoid lines
The Austrian quality is an example for the rest of the world!! A very special place that people stay in line to get into. Remarkable place with very good coffee & a slice of the famous sachertorte!
Definitely worth trying the original Sacher torte. Had the Maria-Theresia kaffee. Lovely and cosy ambience and good service. Don’t be put off by the queue as it moves quickly.
Sachertorte. A classic. In Vienna only. This is old Vienna and Vienna that is talked about. Best cakes in town. Not only classics like Sachertorte and Apfelstrudel, but a whole variety of tasty cakes.
Almost everyone here is a tourist. Get the Sacher torte with whipped cream and have it with eispanner (coffee). Sit by the window and watch the world go by.
Sacher cake is so sweet that I cannot eat it all alone! Just ask for a Sacherwürfel which is smaller version of the original cake. You can get it with or without alcohol.
There’s a recently develop section of the hotel called Sacher Eck‘ meaning corner. Here’s there’s two cosy floors for your cake and coffee as well as a takeaway section.
Sachertorte is a must - this is the place to taste in Wien, since it originated here! Try also the other typical desserts - it's a bit expensive but worth it.
Never leave Vienna without trying the original sachertorte! Best chocolate cake ever! The cafe is quite fancy like the hotel but the staff was very friendly and welcoming.
It has become a business that now relies on its brand rather than its product. It is a machine-made, dry and tasteless cake, served by staff who look worn out. You can find better in the supermarket.
The main attraction is the original Sacher cake which is only sold at 2 locations. I wasn't blown away by it, it is quite sweet, but it has a pleasant flavor.
Schnitzel vas very delicious but sacher is really overrated. A little expensive but you should visit this place if you are visiting Vienna for a limited time.
