Serving typical café food (soups, salads, sandwiches), this place with an incredible view of the city. It has an awesome outdoor area, serves beer, and has Wi-Fi in case you want to work!

A great place to sit near the canals and enjoy a crossaint! Altough the service is a little bit slow but the atmosphere covers it up!

great illy coffee at impressive-must-visit-space, with probably the most beautiful sunny garden/terrace at the water side of town. Enjoy newspapers from around the glove at the comfy reading tables.

Perfect view on the back, looking towards the cannal. During the night the atmosphere is great-amazing outside. Warm place in its total, great space inside and they do offer lots of things to order.

Beautiful interior, busy but calm. Wonderful views of Amsterdam, a lovely place to work/read, but also has a laptop free terrace great for people watching over a cup of coffee or tea. Gorgeous bar.

I fell out of love with this place today. Angry lady behind the bar was having a bad day and decided to share it with us, and the old guy making the coffee obviously had nuts and bolts for breakfast.

Absolutely perfect spot for canal and river traffic watching. Spectacular location. Good coffee, average cakes. All major European newspapers on hand. Friendly staff.

Perhaps my favorite place to eat & hang out in Amsterdam. It's massive & funky, with a front bar, large central dining & work room, and back terrace on a canal. Budget-friendly food. Heaping spaghetti

You can get a good illy cappuccino here, which I think was the dark roast. Wifi is free, but KPN sign-in I think (I couldn't access it).

A little restaurant in the lee of dam square - the servis is nice , by telling you what s on the menu verbally. You have a more personal connection with the crew

Grumpy barmaid, and grumpy barista. This cafe with a wonderful outside deck on the water is let down by staff who think you are there for their benefit.

The vegan salad bar is incredible! Every main dish comes with a saladbowl that you can fill. Amazing spot aswell on the roof

Loved this place. Massive, varied style of seating, open wifi. The baked honey goats cheese with bread roll was to die for! They serve Illy coffee.

I just love the space. Any design/architecture fan would probably like it just for that. Great view (and terrace in the summer) over the Amstel. Menu is just ok, but I still like it for the atmosphere

The view along the canal Great place for a morning Coffee and a newspaper. WiFi comes and goes on the terrace, witch is a bit irritating. Staff is nice

Beautiful building but can be quite busy and the service can be sluggish at times. In the summer, go straight to the terrace and order one of their amazing smoothies.

Tomato soup is perfect. Very nice atmosphere, by the canal. Try to get a table outside when the weather is nice.

Not very authentic but European atmosphere and grownup clientele. Have not eaten, their coffee is very good and terrace among the best literally next to the water.

Beautifull terrace directly at the terras. Good salad bar upstairs and nice hot chocolate with whipped cream during winters.

have been here several times. Sit on the terrace. Beautiful view especially when the sun is shining. Try to go before 4 pm when the sun is on the terrace.

This cafe is enormous, perfect because you know you'll get a table. Sit here for hours and have tea, nobody will bother you.

nice cafe to sit and eat apply pie. Nice reading tables and wonderdull terras. Food is f*cking expensive. €8 for a sandwiches with salmon.

favourite cafe in amsterdam. more residential, but i saw a lot of laptops so maybe the business visitors claimed it. tricky to find but nice view.

Nice terrace with view in the canals. If the terrace on the ground floor is to crowded, try the other one on the 1st floor.
